Industrial Services
Our therapists have created a comprehensive program that promotes injury prevention and effective treatment for the injured worker. Our services include therapy for wound care and all of the following forms of rehabilitation: orthopedic, industrial, neurological, arthritis and spinal.
PREVENTION: Our goal is to design a comprehensive program to help eliminate on-the-job injuries.
Job Placement Assessments
A job placement assessment is an objective approach in determining whether essential job functions can be performed by an employee. A job placement assessment is specific to established job descriptions and governed by ADA and OSHA standards. Individualized screening is designed and performed by our licensed staff; This aids in establishing baseline criteria for your new employee.
Injury Prevention Education Programs
Classes are provided by our staff to instruct employees in awareness of proper body mechanics, ergonomics, and safety. Our educational programs are available for new employee training or to complement an existing safety program.
TREATMENT: We are dedicated to returning the highest percentage of injured workers to pre-injury employment status quickly as possible.
Outpatient Rehabilitation
Therapists thoroughly evaluate the patient to design a rehab program based on his/her individual needs and abilities. A team approach is used in consultation with physicians, case managers, employers, and the worker.
Job Site Analysis
Employers have the option of scheduling an on-site analysis for the therapist to identify the demands of a particular job and to make recommendations to decrease future injuries.
Work Conditioning Program
The focus of this program is on strengthening, conditioning, and education. Job-specific activities are added to ensure that the worker is capable of performing their job functions at their pre-injury level.
Functional Capacity Evaluation (FCE)
An FCE is a standardized assessment tool utilized to collect information regarding physical abilities to determine whether or not an employee can return to previous job duties. It is typically performed after the patient has successfully completed his/her work conditioning program.
